This workshop focuses on delicious and nutritious ways to increase your daily Fibre intake to meet the recommended 30g per day. Increase plant-based food intake and diversity to meet the recommended 30 different plants a week, all while getting enough protein.
I will show you lots of delicious ways to introduce and enjoy legumes like chickpeas, butter and cannellini beans, red and brown lentils, and kidney and black beans. Incorporate fermented foods like kraut kimchi, tofu and miso into your diet, and ways to generally “UP VEG” your meals.
We will talk a lot about the importance of Fibre to the health of our GUT Microbiome our bowel health and our overall mental and physical wellbeing.
We will cook and eat a Selection of seasonal Hearty warming WINTER dishes.
MENU Includes 6 different plant-based dishes that focus on Fibre, protein, and dietary diversity.
We might start with Baked Berry breakfast Oats, or Carrot date and walnut Breakfast loaf, Miso glazed mushrooms or smokey baked beans on gorgeous Gluten Free Buckwheat Toast, a hearty veggie and bean minestrone style or green soup, braises, bakes, stews and casseroles, pasta, curry or baked rice dishes. so many hearty warming options to explore.
Plus, we always finish with a delicious fibre-rich sweet treat like a cake, cookie, brownie, or fruit crumble.
